The Inspiring Women in Business Awards recognise the country’s remarkable, talented, visionary and ground-breaking businesswomen of all ages, at every level and across all sectors, and those companies and colleagues that are helping them to succeed.

This award showcases the country’s inspiring and hard-working female managers - the unsung business heroines. Nominees must provide details of the size of the team they manage, budget responsibility, development of staff and how they have exceeded KPIs.

This award pays tribute to the female and male role models who generously support, mentor and sponsor women, using their skills to help others flourish.


Champion of Change
Honouring those women and men who are constantly pushing the boundaries of equality and gender balance and making dynamic and brave changes within their workplace or industry.


Entrepreneur of the Year
Showcasing the female entrepreneurs who are building UK-based businesses - and have the ambition, energy, skill and vision to scale the heights. Entrants must demonstrate their impact on business performance and/or revenue growth.


Rising Star
We want to shine a spotlight on Britain’s female rising stars by honouring those showing great promise in the first three years in their role (at any level). Nominees must demonstrate impact and ambition.


Director of the Year
This award celebrates the female directors leading and supporting Britain’s businesses. Judges will look at how financial targets and KPIs have been met/exceeded, the vision for growth, innovation and the leader’s understanding of key challenges, customers and the competitive landscape.


CEO of the Year
This award honours the outstanding, ambitious and visionary female leaders that are helping to build and grow world-class firms. Nominees must provide evidence of business performance, leadership and growth, development of company culture and sector impact. We welcome entries from businesses of all sizes.


Recruitment Campaign of the Year
Women are still underrepresented at every level in the corporate talent pipeline. This award recognises a groundbreaking and innovative recruitment campaign that has helped a business to transform its employer brand and attract more female talent.


Flexible Working Initiative of the Year
Showcasing a flexible working initiative that has helped to attract and retain staff, improve staff wellbeing and company culture, and had a positive impact on business performance.


Equality Initiative of the Year
Recognising an exceptional corporate initiative that has helped to support and nurture women within the organisation, and close the gender pay gap.


Judges are looking to reward the outstanding contribution of an individual or business in championing gender equality in their sector, either personally or through company-wide initiatives. Open to entries from businesses and individuals.
